Hee Cheol Cho, PhD Receives American Heart Association Congenital Heart Defect Award
Congratulations to Dr. Hee Cheol Cho on receiving the American Heart Association Congenital Heart Defect Research Transformational Project Award, one of 59 in the country, on the application of his group's biological pacemaker technology. This award will fund $300,000 over the next 3 years, and will push Dr. Cho to nearly $5 million in funding over the next 4 years. Tremendous accomplishment and pushes this technology closer to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta and Sibley Heart Center patients.
