Biography
Opal Ousley, PhD, works with the assessment and diagnosis team at Marcus Autism Center. She received an undergraduate degree in psychology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a doctorate in psychology from Vanderbilt University. In her current position at Marcus Autism Center, Dr. Ousley conducts psychological assessments for families participating in various research studies, with a focus on the clinical characterization of school-age children participating in intervention studies. Dr. Ousley has also participated in research studies of children with 22q11.2 deletion syndrome who are at risk for autism spectrum disorder.
