Biography
Peng Jin, PhD serves as professor and chair in the Department of Human Genetics at Emory University School of Medicine. Dr. Jin is a member of the Cell and Molecular Biology Research Program at Winship.
Research
Dr. Jin's research philosophy combines various disciplines (biochemistry, genetics, chemistry, human genetics/genomics, and bioinformatics) to understand the functions and mechanisms of epigenetics and noncoding RNAs in neurodevelopmental and neurodegenerative disorders.
Education
Dr. Peng Jin received his doctorate degree in Molecular and Developmental Biology from Cincinnati Children’s Hospital/University of Cincinnati and completed postdoctoral training at Emory University.
