Biography

Dr. O’Banion joined the Emory Department of Pediatrics in 2015. He is in the division of neurology and conducts clinics in various locations through Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and Emory School of Medicine’s Department of Pediatrics. He is also core faculty at Morehouse School of Medicine and Georgia State’s Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (LEND) program. His academic role includes teaching pediatric residency programs and conducting specialty clinics at Children’s Center for Advanced Pediatrics and Marcus Autism Center. His research and clinical interests include parenting, relational health and adverse childhood experiences leading to developmental differences.
