This funding mechanism is intended to stimulate new, collaborative research in regenerative medicine. The review committee will strive to make awards that reflect a balance between basic science and translational research as well as a balance of Emory and Georgia Tech faculty. The team of investigators must have a minimum of two investigators and must have an equal partnership of faculty from Georgia Tech and Emory and resources split between the universities as equally as possible.
