CCIV Special Coronavirus Pilot Award
Congratulations to Mehul Suthar, PhD and Anne Piantadosi, MD, PhD, whose research project titled “Genomics and Pathogenesis of SARS-CoV-2” was selected for funding as the CCIV Special Coronavirus Pilot Award!
Five applications were evaluated for this research funding opportunity. The award is intended to stimulate innovative research projects, build new collaborations, and increase extramural funding for pediatric research. Ultimately, the goal is to generate preliminary data for subsequent extramural grant applications in the areas of SARS-CoV-2 and COVID-19. Drs. Suthar and Piantadosi received $50,000 to support their research project.
