Please take a moment and join me in congratulating Dr. Anita McElroy for being awarded the Burroughs Wellcome Career Award for Medical Scientists 2014-2019. Her project was “Mouse adaptive responses to RVFV vaccination”.
The Career Awards for Medical Scientists (CAMS) is a highly competitive program that provides $700,000 awards over five years for physician-scientists, who are committed to an academic career, to bridge advanced postdoctoral/fellowship training and the early years of faculty service. Proposals must be in the area of basic biomedical, disease-oriented, or translational research.
