Research
Dr. Lewis has a special interest in a variety of pediatric gastrointestinal disorders and is the director of clinical research for GI Care for Kids. He has participated in research with children in a wide variety of illnesses. His projects have examined treatment of celiac disease, Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis as well as Hepatitis B, acid reflux, and even autism. He currently is conducting research on eosinophilic esophagitis, and has been the director of research at GI Care for Kids since 2007. In the past, he has received private and National Institutes of Health funding for his research work and has presented his at national conferences and published in high quality medical journals.
