Learning Objectives 
Following the education, the learners will be able to: 

- Describe the developmental trajectories of neonatal reflexive and volitional behavior
- Identify potential adaptive functions of early reflexive behaviors and describe how they create opportunities for learning
- Discuss hypotheses of how persistent reflexive responses may be implicated in the pathogenesis of autism spectrum disorder
