Children’s Clinical and Translational Discovery Core (CTDC) Healthy Control

Location: Emory Children's Center - Research Unit Exam Room

The Emory University Children’s Clinical and Translational Discovery Core (CTDC) is looking for control subjects for their biorepository. Details are below:

What? The Emory University Children’s Clinical and Translational Discovery Core has been established to collect and distribute pediatric and adult biological specimens for their future use in research at Emory University, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, and collaborators outside of Emory University.  If you decide to participate, we will ask to draw 10-50 milliliters (2-10 teaspoons) of blood.  We may also ask you to provide a urine and/or saliva sample.  Each visit will take approximately 10 minutes to complete.  No drug or medication will be given in this study.  You can participate one time or as often as you would like, depending on the needs of the research study and safety parameters. 

Who? This study is open to anyone who is willing to contribute biological samples.

Where/When?  Wednesday, May 9th, in the Emory University Children’s Center Research Unit (ECC-RU) Exam Room 1.  10:30am-12:00pm.

Will I be compensated? At the conclusion of each visit, all participants will be reimbursed in the form of a $20 gift card.
