Biography

With 19 patents and over 100 papers under his name, Dr. Tang is a leading researcher in CT imaging. He was a scientist in GE’s Applied Science Lab (2001-2009) and made key contributions to its flagship CT products (Lightspeed VCT and Discovery CT750-HD). He is currently Principal Investigator of research funded by the Department of Defense and industry, and serves the community in scientific committees (RSNA Physics Subcommittee), study sections (NIH and DoD) and as an Associate Editor (Medical Physics).
