Overview

Dr. Arnold focuses on outcome research to demonstrate the cost-effectiveness of the therapies she uses. This includes incorporating patient reported outcomes, like quality of life, to survival and cost analysis. She hopes to demonstrate that novel therapies are effective and valuable because they enable children to grow up to become healthy, productive citizens in our society.

Her research incorporates local and national collaborations, which include the: Emory Pediatrics Qualitative Research Core, North American Pediatric Aplastic Anemia Consortium, and Sickle Cell Transplant Advocacy and Research Alliance.
