Pediatric brain tumors
Primary research interest and efforts:
Molecular genetics and signaling pathways of tumor metastasis; preclinical testing and developing novel therapeutics for pediatric brain tumors
Primary/current project focus:
Determining the mechanisms of medulloblastoma metastasis through PDGFR and Src kinase signaling in order to develop targeted therapeutics to prevent metastasis
