PubMedBiography
Dr. Brian Vickery is the Division Chief of Allergy/Immunology and the founding Director of the Food Allergy Center at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Over the last 11 years he has led productive and consistently funded patient-oriented research teams focused on translational therapeutic development for IgE-mediated food allergies, work spanning preclinical murine models to Phase 3 trials. With the first new therapies poised for FDA approval and translation into clinical care, he is now particularly interested in the intersection of translational and outcomes research in generating rational, evidence-driven treatment strategies that maximize benefit/risk and improve patient-centered outcomes.
