Our laboratory is focused on understanding how viruses exploit cellular processes to enter cells, start their replication program, and exit cells. In parallel, we are exploring mechanisms to enhance the oncolytic properties of viruses against several types of cancer. We use cellular (3D culture systems, cytotoxicity, high-throughput screening), imaging (fluorescence, confocal, super-resolution microscopy, electron microscopy), molecular (flow-cytometry, immunoblotting), and virological (entry, replication, forward and reverse genetics) approaches to answer these questions.
