Biography
Dr. Bhatia completed her general surgery training at the University of New Mexico and her research fellowship at Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City. She initiated her pediatric surgery fellowship in Australia and completed it at Emory. She recently received her MS in clinical outcomes research from Emory's Rollins School of Public Health. She is the institutional representative for the multicenter NEST trial and is conducting translational research on cytokine levels in neonatal illness.
