Daniel M. Tucker, MD, is a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist at Marcus Autism Center. As part of the medical services team, he cares for children and families in outpatient treatment.
Dr. Tucker brings more than 40 years of experience to this endeavor having worked with children living with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in diverse clinic, public, private, academic and research settings. He comes most recently from the University of Florida College of Medicine where he was division chief of child and adolescent psychiatry. He listens to learn and is a dedicated teacher, recognized in particular for teaching medical students and postgraduate trainees.
Dr. Tucker’s academic and clinical endeavors have included the Yale Child Study Center, the University of Florida, the University of Louisville and the University of Alabama at Birmingham as well as community psychiatry settings in Kentucky, Connecticut and Florida.
He deeply cares for his patients and strives to integrate new knowledge onto the clinical palette of psychiatry.
