Following the education, the learners will be able to:
- Describe the different uses of biomarkers, distinguishing between markers for screening or determining risk, vs. those that mark response to treatment or prediction of outcomes.
- Discuss the potential for measures of arousal and regulation to serve as markers of risk and/or prognosis.
- Identify the implications of biomarkers for idnentifying clinically meaningful subgroups within the broader population of individuals with autism.
